2013 Jacques Barzun Prize

The American Philosophical Society announces the Jacques Barzun Prize in Cultural History.

Authors and publishers* are invited to submit entries for the 2013 prize between October 1, 2013 and January 31, 2014.

The prize is intended for books in English by U.S. citizens or permanent residents in this country, published in the United States between January 1, 2013, and December 31, 2013. Books must be single-authored volumes, not collections of articles or edited texts.

A copy of the book should be sent to each member of the prize committee:
