Dear SHEARites, I have news about our upcoming conference so please read the message even if you have already registered.
If you have pre-registered, thank you! If you haven’t, please pre-register today at https://shear.ticketleap.com/shear2017annualmeeting/ Pre-registration ends on 7 July so if you miss the window, you will have to register on-site using cash or a check only and pay a $30 supplement.
If you are a graduate student presenting at the conference, SHEAR will subvent your conference registration fee. You must still register but you will be reimbursed.
Conference registration on Thursday, 20 July will be from 5:00 to 7:30 pm at the Plenary: Golkin 100, Michael A. Fitts Auditorium, UPenn Law School, 3501 Sansom St. There will be no registration at the reception after. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday registration will be at the DoubleTree.
The Historical Society of Pennsylvania, 1300 Locust Street, is once again offering free admission to conference-goers. Simply show your badge at the desk.
Were you hoping to visit the Museum of the American Revolution? They have added spots to the pre-conference Tour and Talk! You can purchase your ticket at https://shear.ticketleap.com/shear2017annualmeeting/ even if you’ve already pre-registered.
If you cannot make the tour, M*AR is offering a discounted ticket to registered SHEARites. From 19 to 23 July, simply show your conference badge at the Museum Box Office and get $2 off general admission tickets.
