Thomas Parrie: Indigenous Writer in Residence Lecture and Reception at the School for Advanced Research in Santa Fe

This year’s Indigenous Writer in Residence, Thomas Parrie (Choctaw-Apache Tribe of Ebarb in west Louisiana), presents on his current collection of short stories. The project, Aztec Sandwiches, is a semi-autobiographical tale of an extended family’s quirks, adventures, victories and defeats through a humorous and often surreal narrative that is a testament to cultural survival.

A reception to meet the artist will take place immediately following the presentation.
