PA Museums, Pennsylvania’s statewide museum association, invites students to attend some or all of the session programming at our annual conference in Bellefonte, PA, April 16-17, 2018. There will be NO REGISTRATION FEE to attend sessions for students. Students are welcome to join us for our Keynote Addresses, one session of particular interest, or all of the educational sessions. This offer does not include admittance to our Welcome Reception, lunches, or Awards Ceremony.

The Pennsylvania Magazine of History and Biography is issuing a call for articles to be included in a special issue on women and politics in Pennsylvania history, scheduled for publication in October 2020.
The editors seek submissions of the following two sorts.
The Historical Society of Pennsylvania
Balch Institute Fellowships in Ethnic and/or 20th-Century History and
Albert M. Greenfield Fellowship in 20th-Century History

In preparation for the upcoming anniversary of passage of the Nineteenth Amendment granting women the right to vote, the National Conference of State Historic Preservation Officers and the National Park Service is seeking proposals for brief essays on the woman suffrage movement. The primary purpose of the essays is to provide online context for a new National Park Service travel itinerary and website on women’s history and the Nineteenth Amendment.
