Call for Editors for H-Pennsylvania: Opportunity for Current Subscribers

Greetings, H-Pennsylvania Subscribers!

Do you have an hour or so a week to give to H-Pennsylvania?

H-Pennsylvania needs two or three subscribers who are willing to become discussion moderators and editors for the network. The editorial and moderator responsibilities rotate among the editors, typically in 2-week shifts.

In addition, we'd like to find ways to expand the use and content of H-Pennsylvania beyond discussion posts. That might mean a social media presence (such as Twitter or Facebook), adding regularly published blogs, and including more public history and educational venues.

Please send the editors an email via the "Write to the Editors" link on the H-Pennsylvania home page. In your message, please tell us a bit about what you'd like to contribute to the network and its development, your current position and activities, and your historical interests. Graduate students, early career scholars, and active retirees are especially encouraged to apply!

The H-Pennsylvania editors will begin review of these expressions of interest immediately. Successful candidates will then be provided information about the formal application process with H-Net and the online training for editors. (This training is not arduous, but it IS interesting to learn about H-Net and the editorial processes.)

Other questions? Please send those through the "Write the Editors" email as well.

We hope to hear from you soon!

Thank you -- The H-Pennsylvania Editors and Advisory Board
