Applications for grants and awards from the University of Notre Dame's Cushwa Center for the Study of American Catholicism are due by the new year:

Research Travel Grants assist scholars who wish to use the University of Notre Dame's archival collections in Catholic Americana at the Hesburgh Libraries.

D'Agostino Research Travel Grants support research in Roman archives for projects on U.S. Catholic history.

Hesburgh Research Travel Grants provide funds for scholars to research primary source materials relating to the life and work of Rev. Theodore M. Hesburgh, C.S.C., president of the University of Notre Dame from 1952 to 1987.

Hibernian Research Awards support the scholarly study of Irish American history.

The fall issue of the Cushwa Center's American Catholic Studies Newsletter announced the launch in spring 2018 of the center's Mother Theodore Guerin Research Travel Grant Program. The first round of applications will be due May 1, 2018. Stay tuned for details and application procedures in the coming months from the Cushwa Center.
