The Michigan Technological University Archives and Copper Country Historical Collections, a department within the Van Pelt and Opie Library on the Michigan Tech campus in Houghton, Michigan, is currently accepting proposals to its annual travel grant program. We provide up to $750 to defray travel costs for researchers interested in conducting historical research at our archives. I am attaching a link to the blog post about the Call for Proposals.
Just a reminder that The Michigan Historical Review is always looking for insightful submissions that might speak to regional, Midwestern history from some sort of Michigan perspective. And we were delighted when one of our articles recently won the Midwestern History Association's Dorothy Schweider Prize for best article published in Midwestern history.
