The Michigan Technological University Archives and Copper Country Historical Collections, a department within the Van Pelt and Opie Library on the Michigan Tech campus in Houghton, Michigan, is currently accepting proposals to its annual travel grant program. We provide up to $750 to defray travel costs for researchers interested in conducting historical research at our archives. I am attaching a link to the blog post about the Call for Proposals. Typically 3-5 researchers will be funded.
Applications are due on February 29, 2016. Award recipients will be notified by March 31. The successful candidate must complete their travel by December 9, 2016. Electronic submission is preferred.
