Lauriann Deaver is a history instructor at Southern New Hampshire University. In this episode, we talk about her background and her interest in environmental histoy in the American West. Her current research project is on the collapse of the Teton Dam in eastern Idaho in 1976 and the federal, state, and local responses to the disaster, especially the response among the local Mormon community.
