The Art of the Review Show Notes for Episode 19 Reviewing Culture

Yelena Kalinsky Blog Post

This episode was inspired by a previous episode of The Art of the Review, in which we discussed Professionalism in Tone with Vladimir Solonari and H-Net copyeditors Charlotte Weber and Basia Nowak. In this episode, Robert speaks with Michael Munnik, Lecturer in Social Science Theories and Methods at Cardiff University and review editor for H-SAE, and Jim Niessen, World History Librarian at Rutgers University Libraries, former VP for Research and Publications, and former review editor for Habsburg, about reviewing cultures on both sides of the Atlantic, including our German partners, H-Soz-Kult. We hope listeners will weigh in with their thoughts in the Reply box below.
