CFP REMINDER: Southeast World History Association meeting, June 30 2015 (cross-posted from H-World)



This is a reminder that the Southeast World History Association (SEWHA), a thriving regional affiliate of the World History Association (WHA), is holding its annual conference on June 30, immediately prior to this year's WHA meeting in Savannah, Georgia. We seek panels, individual papers, and other proposals (media and poster displays, roundtables, etc.) on this year's theme, "Envisioning Change: Representations of Transformation in World History."

The  conference theme complements that of the WHA's meeting and asks:

“Migratory Aesthetics and Asian/American Studies”

Penn State University invites applicants for its annual Asian Studies Summer Institute, to be held June 21-27, 2015. This year’s Institute, directed by Tina Chen and Eric Hayot, focuses on the topic of “Migratory Aesthetics and Asian/American Studies.”
