Ennin's Diary and Ennin's Travels have been reprinted by Angelico Press

In 1955, Edwin O. Reischauer published a full English translation of Ennin's Diary; the Record of a Pilgrimage to China in Search of the Law and the companion volume, Ennin's travels in Tʻang China, which introduces the Japanese monk Ennin (794-864) and highlights important topics in the diary of his China travels between 838 and 847. Both books have been out of print for decades. Angelico Press has reissued both books, which are available in both paperback and hard cover.
