Those of you interested in China's food landscape may wish to check out the online seminar "China's Food: A Historian Asks What's Next?"

https://www.facebook.com/UAPCAS/videos/245563886507168/

This talk introduces three people at different points in the dairy chain, to show how opportunities and challenges in China's food transformation look to people on the ground. It covers such topics as food safety, overseas investment, e-commerce, branding, and culinary heritage. The talk was followed by a lively Q&A.

This webinar was kindly invited and expertly arranged by the Department of Asia-Pacific Studies, in the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Asia and the Pacific in Manila. I hope that more talks like this will follow!

Best wishes,

Thomas
