NECS Online Lecture Series on "Media and Migration" (1/5): Radha Sarma Hegde, “Decentering the Default: Reflections on Migration and Method”

We are excited to announce that the first event of our Online Lecture Series on Media and Migration, co-organized by Giuseppe Fidotta (Concordia University), Mara Mattoscio (“Gabriele d’Annunzio” University of Pescara), and Dalila Missero (Oxford Brookes University), with the support of NECS and the Centre for Research in the Arts at Oxford Brookes, will take place on 28 January 2021.

Our guest speaker that day is Professor Radha Sarma Hegde (Department of Media, Culture and Communication at New York University), who will deliver a lecture entitled “Decentering the Default: Reflections on Migration and Method”. Professor Hegde will then respond to questions posed by our discussants and by the general public.
