Overview
This short course, Archaeology of Warfare in Muslim Cultures, will focus on military architecture and arms and armour. Expert speakers will explore the fortifications; siege techniques; and the art of war, strategies and tactics; they will review the weapons and armour used by princes, soldiers and warriors by geographical area and period.
Format
This course will consist of three sessions on Saturday 15th March and a two-hour visit to the Wallace Collection on Sunday 16th March.
