The conference aims to analyse the roles and uses of transit camps and sites in the European historical, geographical and cultural context from WW2 to today from a multidisciplinary and comparative perspective. The two-day conference is organized by the Fondazione Campo Fossoli, whose mission is to preserve and transmit the history and memories of this Italian site of transit.

Call for Applications: GEOP Interdisciplinary Research Workshops

POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews - through the Global Education Outreach Program - invites individuals and institutions to propose three-day research workshops to be held at POLIN Museum on topics related to the history and culture of Polish Jews, including new perspectives on public history, museums, and cultural memory. We especially encourage interdisciplinary and comparative approaches.

Important activities of POLIN Museum are related to Jewish art and architecture.
