The first seminar of the Institute of Historical Research's Partnership seminar series Risk and Uncertainty in the Premodern World will run online next Thursday, 17:00-19:00 London time. We are delighted to be hosting William Caferro and Marina Iní for a seminar on Pandemics, Risk and Uncertainty.

 

William Caferro (Vanderbilt): Black Death, Violence and Risk in Fourteenth-Century Italy

Marina Iní (Cambridge): Quarantine and Risk in the Early Modern Mediterranean
