Call for article contributions to the special issue ‘Approaches to Contemporary Poetry and Affect Studies in the Hispanic Context’, Bulletin of Contemporary Hispanic Studies.
The edited volume aims to open up a space to reflect on the application of theoretical approaches to the analysis of poetry. The Hispanic context should be understood as the place where theory, poetic creation and its reception converge.
Article proposals are to focus on the study of emotion and affect in poetry. Possible areas of analysis may include (but are not limited to): thematic approaches to poetry; its figurative elements and/or formal aspects; poetry's cognitive effects; its social implications; and the location of poetry in the field of contemporary Hispanic cultural production.
Abstract proposal of 250 words should be sent to email@example.com.
