Book Launch: The Early Ottoman Peloponnese by Georgios Liakopoulos

You are warmly invited to the launch of Dr Georgios Liakopoulos’ study The Early Ottoman Peloponnese: A study in the light of an annotated editio princeps of the TT10-1/14662 Ottoman taxation cadastre (ca. 1460–1463), published by The Ibrahim Pasha of Egypt Fund, The Royal Asiatic Society of Great Britain and Ireland, in conjunction with the Gingko Library. Speakers include Professor Francis Robinson (Royal Asiatic Society, London), Associate Professor Paraskevas Konortas (University of Athens), Research Professor Georgia Katsouda (Academy of Athens), Dr Alexis Alexandris (former Consul General of Greece in Istanbul; Ambassador–Representative of Greece to UN, Geneva), and the author, Dr Georgios Liakopoulos (Max Planck Institute, Jena).
