The Association of Anthropology, Gerontology, and the Life Course in conjunction with the Anthropology of Children and Youth Interest Group will hold their nex biennial conference at Oxford Brookes University (Oxford, UK) 8-9 June, 2017.

The theme of the conference is "Culture, Commitment, and Care across the Life Course" and keynotes will be given by Prof. Mary Catherine Bateson and Prof. Pia Christensen (Leeds). Workshops and mentoring opportunities for graduate students and recent PhDs will be available, as well as a limited number of small travel bursaries (for student presenters) to be announced after the program is determined.

Fresh perspectives from psychological anthropology on care and lifespan development are especially welcome!

We are eager to include papers/panels from a variety of disciplinary perspectives on the conference topic.
Abstracts (250 words) should be sent to jdanely@brookes.ac.uk no later than 15 December, 2016

Please feel free to write if you have any questions.

Thank you very much and looking forward to your abstracts!

Best regards,
