Liebe alle,

The UCLA Department of European Languages and Transcultural Studies (ELTS) invites abstract submissions for its 2nd annual Graduate Student Conference.

The conference, entitled Permanence & Decay, will take place on May 23-24, 2022 and will explore the areas of permanence and decay from the point of view of Francophone, Italian, Germanic, or Scandinavian studies (please find the full CfP attached here). Applicants are invited to submit a 250-word abstract to ucla.elts.conference@gmail.com by January 7th, 2022.

In an effort to accommodate our local and international colleagues’ travel and health restrictions, as well as to be mindful of our environmental impact, the conference will adopt a hybrid in-person + online format (details will follow).

If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to email us at: ucla.elts.conference@gmail.com. Website coming soon!

Best regards,

Anna Bonazzi
