Summer Research Grants to Washington University in St. Louis (2022) for Faculty Members, Postdocs, PhD Candidates and Graduate Students

We invite applications for the following summer research grants:

  • One Max Kade Grant ($3,500) for a faculty member, postdoc, PhD candidate or graduate student at a US or Canadian university to do research in the Mike Lützeler Contemporary German Literature Collection at Washington University’s Olin Library.
  • Two DAAD Grants ($3,000) for graduate students, PhD candidates or postdocs at US or Canadian universities to do research in the Mike Lützeler Contemporary German Literature Collection at Washington University’s Olin Library.

The application deadline is April 20, 2022. All three grants cover a minimum of six weeks; applications for a shorter period will not be considered. Research must be done during the time between the middle of May and the middle of August 2022. Please send a CV and short description of your research project or dissertation topic. PhD candidates and graduate students must include a recommendation from a dissertation advisor or other faculty member.
