We are honoured to announce the launch of Dan Hicks' The Brutish Museums: The Benin Bronzes, Colonial Violence and Cultural Restitution. Hosted by the University of Coimbra, Centre for Social Studies, the event will take place on the Zoom platform and last for one hour and half.

Obituary: Daviz Simango, 1964-2021, Mozambican politician

Daviz Simango was a founder and leader of MDM (Movimento Democratico de Mocambique) and mayor of Beira since 2003. He was ill with Covid-19, and had been moved to a hospital in South Africa where he passed away.
