The newly launched Journal of Video Ethnography (JVE) is the first ever peer-reviewed journal of ethnographic films and videos. JVE aims to advance the social scientific use of video/film as a method for exploring human society, systems, and cultures and as a medium for presenting the findings of those explorations.

The Faculty of Visual Culture, NCAD, is delighted to offer a Postgraduate Scholarship, worth full tuition fees, to a student on the MA Design History & Material Culture.
The scholarship will be awarded on merit and all applicants are eligible, including EU and non EU students. There is no separate application procedure.

CONF: 2014 ALHFAM Annual Meeting and Conference Program & Registration
The 2014 program and registration booklet for the 2014 annual meeting and conference of the Association for Living History, Farm and Agricultural Museums is now online! There are two days of interesting, informative and useful sessions; pre-conference workshops and tours; and two days of site visits. Early bird registration (last day is May 10) is $400 CDN for ALHFAM members and $430 for non-members (this includes an individual membership), which covers meals, sessions, evening events and site visits.
