Special Issue: Material Culture and the Environment
The scholarly journal Material Culture seeks article-length manuscripts for a special issue on material culture and the environment. Interpretation of this theme is broad and manuscripts focusing on any region of the world are welcome. Manuscripts should be jargon-free, 6000-8000 words in length, have a solid foundation in relevant theory and literature, and may contain up to 8 black and white images that are illustrative of the manuscript’s key points. Submissions on any topic relating to material culture are accepted at any time, but submissions for the special issue should adhere to the deadlines listed below.

Material Culture is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by the International Society for Landscape, Place, and Material Culture.
