More importanly, we are delighted to announce a new forum in collaboration with Shift: Graduate Journal of Visual and Material Culture. We have selected an original article submitted to Shift and published it in the forum to be the centerpiece of the forum discussion. Authors of the current issue of Shift have been invited to pen responses to article. The first of these has already been posted. The article, "Images on Museum Websites: Examining the Disconnect between User Expectations and the Current Reality" by Sarah Vela, is a provokative piece on how museums are working with academic researchers, or not. Take a look and share your thoughts.
