Australian maritime history
The Great Circle is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year by the Australian Association for Maritime History. For more than 40 years The Great Circle has expanded the concept of what maritime history is about. Certainly, it still publishes papers (usually illustrated) on traditional subjects such as biography & exploration, ships and shipping, but it also provides a forum for research on rock art, novels, sea shanties, artists, industry, trade, health, welfare, labour & seacraft.
Please contact Dr Erika Techera (erika.techera@uwa.edu.au), editor of The Great Circle if you are interested in submitting your paper for consideration.
For further details about The Great Circle please see https://aamh.asn.au/great-circle/ or contact Peter Ridgway, Social Media Editor, AAMH at info@aamh.asn.au
The AAMH does much more than publish, it organises conferences, delivers lectures, contributes to the maritime day celebrations and supports students. See www.aamh.as.au for details.
