De Zeventiende Eeuw, the peer-reviewed scholarly journal of the Werkgroep Zeventiende Eeuw (Study Group Seventeenth Century), publishes original articles on the cultural history of the seventeenth-century Northern and Southern Netherlands from an interdisciplinary perspective. Articles focus on Dutch and neo-Latin literature, art history, religion, and cultural history in the broadest sense of the word. Articles can be submitted in either Dutch or English.
The BMGN-LCHR (Bijdragen en Mededelingen betreffende de geschiedenis der Nederlanden - Low Countries Historical Review), published since 1877 by the Koninklijk Nederlands Historisch Genootschap (KNHG) accepts contributions in both Dutch and English on all aspects of the history of the Netherlands, Belgium and their global presence. Since 2012 it is published as an Open Access journal.
Queeste is an international, multi-lingual, peer-reviewed journal in the area of medieval literature in the Low Countries (to 1600). The journal reflects the multi-lingual nature of this region by providing a forum for research results on literature in Dutch as well as in a variety of other languages, such as French, German, English and Latin. The journal's definition of 'literature' is inclusive rather than exclusive and studies on non-canonical texts are welcome. Articles are in Dutch, English, French or German.
