Gregory Richard Discussion

Here's a reminder that the registration for the 2015 Louisiana THATCamp is now open. Read below for more information:

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette organizes a Digital Humanities conference (THATCamp) Wednesday March 4 (all day) and Thursday March 5 (morning) 2015 at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. http://louisiana2015.thatcamp.org/

Dealing with the various uses of Digital tools and technology to create, preserve, share, or teach materials in the Humanities, THATCamp offers opportunities to discuss what the digital bring to the field. Sessions will be designed the day of the conference and there is no Call for Paper since participants do not read papers but discuss the uses of the digital through sessions like, for instance, Text Encoding / Data Mining / GIS / Omeka and online exhibition / Crowdsouring … etc.

In addition to university scholars, participants from archives, libraries, museums, historic sites, and other cultural heritage associations using digital technology are particularly welcome.

Registration will only open mid-January but feel free to contact Dr. Thomas Cauvin (cauvin@louisiana.edu) for additional information regarding the conference and logistics.
