#3: Starting a New Discussion

Want to post a query or announcement, or raise a new issue for readers to discuss? - Subscribers can create a new discussion on any of their networks.  Other subscribers can respond.

1. Log in at the upper right of any Commons page.
2. Find and click on your network in the “List of Networks.”
3. At the network, click either “Start a Discussion with Fellow Scholars" or “Create New Discussion” in the right sidebar.
4. Give your post a title, write it using the editing toolbar, enter a keyword tag or two, preview it, and submit to the editor.
