WORLD HISTORY - History Instructor

University of Memphis

INSTRUCTOR, WORLD HISTORY. The Department of History at The University of Memphis invites applications for a non-tenure-track Instructor in World History with the ability to teach survey courses in World History and upper-division undergraduate courses in multiple geographic areas in both classroom and online formats to begin August 2022. The position is a one-year appointment with full benefits with the possibility of renewal for an additional one year.

Instructor will teach 12 credit hours per semester for a 4/4 teaching load. Successful candidates will possess good teaching skills, a commitment to student success, and strong research credentials. Ph.D. in History preferred; advanced ABD will be considered.
