The scheduled meeting of PhD students in the field of legal history and Roman law aims to enable beginning researchers to exchange experiences from their previous studies and academic life and to present their partial research results, based primarily on the topics of their PhD thesis. Mutual acquaintance and frequent meetings are very important as they create space for the development of future relations as well as for cooperation and the possibility of international support granting.
The general topic of contributions is deliberately not defined, and it is possible to deal with the development of the state and law or with the Roman law in the individual states of Central Europe. There will be also an accompanying program for participants. The conference will be divided into individual thematic sections according to the number of registered participants and topics of their contributions. The languages of the conference are English and German.
Written versions of the papers will be published in English in a peer-reviewed printed conference proceeding.
The application should be submitted by May 31, 2022, via the Registration System of the MU Faculty of Law. Note that although organizers can register more attendees than their capacity allows, then only selected attendees to participate will be allowed into the conference.
The conference will be held during September 8-9, 2022 at the Department of the History of the State and Law of the Faculty of Law, Masaryk University Brno.
