SOUTHWESTERN HISTORICAL ASSOCIATION ANNUAL MEETING
Las Vegas, Nevada – March 23-26, 2016
CALL FOR PAPERS – EXTENDED DEADLINE!
You are cordially invited to the join the Southwestern Historical Association, in conjunction with the Southwestern Social Sciences Association, to our annual meeting in Las Vegas, March 23-26, 2016. Faculty, independent scholars, public historians, and students may submit proposals for panels, papers, or roundtable sessions, in any area of history. Student members of Phi Alpha Theta may propose papers or entire panels for student-only sessions; students who are not members of the Phi Alpha Theta should submit papers for regular sessions.
Please submit electronically at: http://convention2.allacademic.com/one/sssa/sssa16. Panelists are asked to provide a CV of no more than two pages, a 350-word abstract, and appropriate contact information, including full name, e-mail address, and academic rank (faculty or graduate student). Historians may volunteer to serve as panel chair or discussants via All Academic, or contact the relevant area studies coordinator via e-mail. Those who have created a profile in All Academic for previous SSSA annual meetings should continue to use that account.
The new deadline for receiving proposal is November 20, 2015.
Individuals submitting accepted proposals will be notified approximately four weeks after the submission deadline.
