We are currently putting together an edited collection called Rewriting the Abortion Narrative: The Power of Popular Culture.
We are accepting 250-300 word abstracts that deal with abortion depictions in popular culture of the last 20 years that are changing the narrative about abortion in a wide range of popular culture, including film, television, literature, music, podcasts, blogs, and social media. Abstracts should outline the author's theoretical format and identify the goals of the essay. Submit proposals to Brenda Boudreau at firstname.lastname@example.org and Kelli Maloy at email@example.com.
Final essays of 4000-6000 words will be due by June 1, 2022.
