This workship will address teaching airpower history. Sessions will cover important themes, time periods, historiographical issues, recommended readings, teaching methods, and lesson plan suggestions. Civilian and military applicants from history, international relations, political science, governmental studies, and related disciplines are welcome. We are interested in applicants who are Ph.D. students, instructors, lecturers, assistant and associate professors, and professors--but don't self-eliminate. There are 20 openings. The workshop will take place at MGMWerx in downtown Montgomery, Alabama. Presenters include faculty from Air University, the University of Kansas, and the University of Mississippi. Funding for travel, lodging, and meals will be available. Applications need to be submitted by February 14, 2022.
