Call for Authors: The Palgrave Handbook of Global Social Problems: Major Reference Work
As Editor-in-Chief, I invite you to take part in the largest editorial project on Social Problems- "The Palgrave Handbook of Global Social Problems " being published by Palgrave Macmillan, United Kingdom.

For each of these themes we have committed authors but you can propose a maximum of 2 chapters to the author or coauthor. There are 300+ entries in development, review and in production at the moment. In this call for contribution, we are particularly seeking authors for:
COVID 19 and Disability
COVID 19 and Domestic Violence
COVID 19 and Poverty
COVID 19 and Hunger
COVID 19 and Social Distancing
COVID 19 and Social Anxiety
COVID 19 and Social Inequality
COVID 19 and Social Media
COVID 19 and Social Policy
COVID 19 and Social Work Practice
If you have an idea that doesn’t fit in to the above sections but contributes to the overall project, please get in touch with editor-in-chief. We welcome your ideas.
The size of each chapter that we are expecting will be circa 5000-10000 words (including the
reference list). We are inviting the chapters, that are critical summaries/synopses (Tertiary literature) rather than original research reports.
We are accepting contributions on a rolling basis and writing and reviewing is scheduled to take place until approximately July 2026 and final proofing between then and the end of the year. The sooner you submit your chapter the sooner it will be published online and citable. Contributions to this handbook are peer-reviewed.
