The Yiddish Book Center is accepting applications for its 2016-2017 Fellowship Program. Applicants should be recent college graduates with a strong background in Jewish studies or related fields, a working knowledge of Yiddish, a commitment to Yiddish language and culture, and a demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Fellows learn valuable professional skills while contributing to the Center's ongoing projects in the fields of digital collections, oral history, Yiddish education, translation, and educational programming. Fellows receive a stipend of $30,000 plus health insurance. Applications are due by January 4, 2016
