The growing importance of research in Humanities and Social Science and methodological, theoretical, financial, ethical, and legal challenges posed to the researchers day by day hampers both research and scholarship in the various fields. The present International Workshop aims to build researcher’s capacity to overcome with the challenges in research. The Worksop provides a comprehensive understanding of fundamentals of research and new interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches in Humanities and Social Sciences. It also aims to introduce the basics of research, concepts, approaches, academic writing, research design, citation styles, research ethics and integrity etc. The postgraduate students, research scholars and early career faculty members who are planning to take up research or in the mid of their research can find this Worksop useful. The distinguished resource persons from various fields in humanities and social sciences from India and abroad will share their experiences and suggest how to overcome from the challenges in research. Participants will be acquainted with the theoretical and practical premises of empiricism in the domain of research in the discipline of Humanities/Social Science and allied disciplines.
