Call for Submissions
The Journal of Religion, Culture & Democracy (JRCD), a new peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal focused on the intersection of religion and civil society, invites article submissions to be considered for publication in its inaugural volume in 2022.
The dynamic interrelationships between the human person and social institutions—particularly the family, commercial enterprises, churches and faith-based organizations, and governments—are both permanent features of human society and simultaneously formed by cultural and historical contexts. JRCD exists to promote scholarship that critically examines the formative institutions for and the positive role of religion in the public square.
For its inaugural volume, JRCD is particularly interested in articles that examine or develop fundamental principles or historical notions regarding the relationships between religion, civil society, and the individual human person.
JRCD, published by the Center for Religion, Culture & Democracy, welcomes submissions from established scholars and graduate students working in a variety of fields, including history, philosophy, theology, economics, sociology, political science, and law.
