The sixth edition of the International Seminar Collective Violence and Genocide will take place on November 18 in the afternoon (16:00 hours CET) and on Friday, November 19 in the morning (10:00 hours CET).
The main objective of this sixth seminar is to reflect on the impact, consequences and legacy of the extreme violence of the Modern Age in contemporary times. Thus, historians and jurists will be present to analyse case studies such as Ireland, the Balkans or Ukraine where the understanding of contemporary collective violence involves studying the long shadow of the past.
