The Program in Judaic Studies at Brown University will host a 3-day symposium entitled “Jewish Attitudes toward Wealth and Poverty” on November 1-3, 2015, at Brown RISD Hillel House, 80 Brown St., Providence, RI.  Registration required to attend conference at judaic@brown.edu.  You are also invited to attend the keynote address by Gary Anderson (University of Notre Dame) entitled “Metaphysics or Morals: The Place of Charity in Second Temple Judaism” on Monday, November 2, 2015 @ 5:30 PM, at Petteruti Lounge, 2nd floor, Faunce House, 75 Waterman St., Providence, RI.  This event is free and open to public; no registration required.
