Emerging Public Realm of the Greater Bay Area is a book that assembles innovative approaches for studying ongoing transformations in public space, and its relationship to the public realm in the world’s most populous urban megaregion—the Greater Bay Area of southeastern China.
On December 2, 2021, Editors Miodrag Mitrasinovic and Timothy Jachna and chapter authors Juan Du, Mark Frazier, and Mary O'Donnell will discuss how public spaces frame the issues of planning, social inclusion, political control, and participation in everyday urbanism.
The event will take place online.
