The Court Historian
The Society for Court Studies (www.courtstudies.org) is pleased to announce that its bi-annual, peer-reviewed international journal, The Court Historian, published by Taylor and Francis, is now available online for the first time, giving access to twenty years of scholarship in this inter-disciplinary field, ranging from the medieval to the modern, from art history to diplomacy. Content can be accessed either as individual articles via http://www.maneyonline.com/loi/cou, or as complete issues with other membership benefits (such as society conferences and lectures) via http://www.courtstudies.org/journal.htm. The bibliography of books and articles on court history published since 1999 is also fully digitised and word searchable. Special issues on Porcelain, Dance, Royal Hunts and Court Cities of the Nineteenth Century have been published. Proposals for articles should sent to the editors, Jonathan Spangler (J.Spangler@mmu.ac.uk) or Philip Mansel (philipmansel@gmail.com). In July 2015 the Society for Court Studies (Germany) was established. Its first conference will be in the Historisches Kolleg, Kaulbachstraße 15, 80539 Munich in December 2016 on Animals at Court .
