The third in a five-session series of virtual presentations on Black Britain sponsored by the British, Irish and Empire Studies program at the University of Texas at Austin, "Early Modern Black Britain: Now and Then" will convene at 12 noon CDT (6 p.m. GMT) Friday, October 29, 2021, via Zoom. Featured speakers will be Tamara Lewis of Southern Methodist University and John Meyer of Humanities Texas and Thinkery & Verse. Aaron Pratt of the University of Texas at Austin will chair. After brief presentations by the speakers, the audience will be invited to take part in discussion.
