I am currently looking for scholarly essays for a collection on the history of astrology with the working title, Starcrossed Century: Astrology and Global Society from World War I to Covid. Although the historiography of astrology is exceptionally lively at this time, it has largely avoided the twentieth century and afterward. I am interested in essays covering the modern history of astrology in all parts of the globe, particularly outside the Anglosphere. (I am not interested in essays devoted to either vindicating or debunking astrology.) Among the many possible topics are astrology and gender, astrology and politics, astrology and information technology, and astrology and astronomy. A publisher has expressed interest.
If interested, send email@example.com a brief abstract of the paper you intend to submit along with a short CV focusing on publication. The essays should be finished by early 2023.
