The Roebling Chapter of the Society for Industrial Archeology (RCSIA) has produced an annual Symposium on industrial archaeology and related topics within the NY-NJ metropolitan region since 1981. The Symposium has been hosted in Paterson’s Great Falls National Historical Park since 2010 with the particular attraction of highlighting the new national park's ongoing development. The past five Great Falls Symposia provided presentations of recent developments and research within Paterson and the Great Falls Historic District, as well as many other diverse contemporary topics throughout NY, NJ and Europe.

At the rehabilitated Rogers Locomotive Storage Building

32 Spruce St. in Paterson, NJ in the Great Falls National Historical Park

Please join us for the paper presentations, lunch, annual presentation of the Roebling Award, book and postcard vendors. After the symposium, take a brief tour of the nearby Dublin Historic District, Paterson's oldest neighborhood.
