Global Conference on Women and Gender 2022: Community, Care, and Crisis (Deadline for Abstracts Extended!)
Christopher Newport University’s College of Arts and Humanities
seeks abstracts for the forthcoming
Global Conference on Women and Gender
to be held March 17-19, 2022
Our theme is:
Community, Care, and Crisis
This interdisciplinary conference brings together participants from all academic fields to engage in wide-ranging, critical conversations about how communities are developed, fostered, and destroyed in the small- and large-scale; who is most entitled to care and who must/can give it; how crisis affects both communities as a whole and the individuals within them; and how all of these questions are shaped by the ways gender is constructed, legislated, resisted, and performed.
