I am delighted to announce the 2021 Beitler Distinguished Lecture: Conspiracy Theory and Political Culture, Past and Present: A Conversation with The Atlantic's Adrienne LaFrance and James McAuley, hosted by the University of Pennsylvania, on October 19th, 5:30 PM (virtual). Adrienne La France, executive director of The Atlantic and James McAuley, a contributor to The Atlantic and author of The House of Fragile Things, will discuss conspiracy theory and political culture. Sophia Rosenfeld, Walter H. Annenberg Professor of History at the University of Pennsylvania, will moderate the conversation.
