CTE Seminars: A Masterclass with Professor Anna Arabindan-Kesson
To mark the end of the two seasons of Culture, Things, and Empire, we will be hosting a masterclass on 29th October, 5-6:15pm BST via Zoom with Professor Anna Arabindan-Kesson, in keeping with our S2 running theme of 'Remembering Empire'. During this special event, Professor Arabindan-Kesson will speak for approximately 45 minutes covering these questions of memory and empire, and most importantly discussing her first book, Black Bodies, White Gold: Art, Cotton, and Commerce in the Atlantic World. There will be the opportunity for group discussion, questions and comments in the remaining 30 minutes of the masterclass. Anna is Assistant Professor in the Department of African American Studies & Department of Art and Archaeology at Princeton University.
