The program has a stronger interdisciplinary focus and enhanced financial resources. We offer up to five years of financial support in the form of fellowships and teaching assistantships that include full tuition remission and a stipend of $21,500. Most students will be on fellowship during their first year of study, and dissertation-year fellowships are also available.
We accept students with B.A. or M.A. degrees. The deadline for applications is January 1st, 2016.
Tulane is one of the most highly regarded and selective independent research universities in the United States, located in the formerly French and Spanish colonial city of New Orleans and near Francophone Cajun and Creole areas of Louisiana.
